Transform Photographs to Collages

The participants learn 

• The art of abstraction - which is taking out the relavant parts from a photograph and leaving out the minute details - For example you have a beautiful detailed scenery and want to make a collage work out of it. Yes you can make a collage keeping all the minute details in place, but leaving out the minute details and taking the most striking part as your working piece is a very useful practice. You can extend that to make collages, add your own styles like ink on paper and so on. You will be taught this using various examples.
• Use the one such piece to create a collage
• Learn how to make your own collage papers and learn how to use them along with existing newspaper cuts, leaves and other materials
• Have a full collage painting ready!
